A delegation from the government of the Emirate of Sharjah visits the National Museum

His Excellency Jamal bin Hassan al-Moosawi, Secretary General of the National Museum, received a delegation from the government of the Emirate of Sharjah, headed by His Excellency Sheikh / Fahim bin Sultan al-Qasimi, Head of the Government Relations Department of the Government of Sharjah.

The delegation toured the Museum and its galleries, and listened to a full explanation about it, its main important aspects of the history and civilisation of the Sultanate of Oman.

The delegation also visited the historical houses of the museum (the house of Sayyid Nadir bin Faisal - the house of Sayyida Muzna bint Nader as well as the historical Bayt Greiza, and listened to an overview of the houses and learned about the efforts made by the National Museum in preserving the local architectural heritage of the old houses in historical Muscat. In addition to the rehabilitation to provide a new cultural experience that represents the political and social life in the old Muscat during the beginning of the 19th century CE.
