Corner for Omani Publications Launched at Russian Saint Petersburg University

Within the framework of cultural cooperation between the National Museum and Saint Petersburg State University in the Russian Federation represented by the Institute of Oriental Studies, a specialised corner has been launched for a number of Omani publications in different fields. The Institute is supervised by Professor Dr. Mikhail Piotrovskiy, Director General of the Hermitage Museum and member of the National Museums’ Board of Trustees in the Sultanate of Oman.

The corner aims to empower students within the field of Arabic studies in the field of Omani studies, and provide them with knowledge regarding the cultural and intellectual aspect of the Sultanate of Oman, thus contributing to building bridges between the two friendly countries.
