The Board of Trustees of the National Museum holds its 11th meeting

The Board of Trustees of the National Museum reviewed several topics during its 11th meeting today, Sunday, February 11, 2024 CE, at the Museum`s headquarters. Among the highlights were the approval of the Museum`s annual report for the year 2023 and the annual plan for the Museum for the year 2024 CE.

The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Salim bin Mohammed al-Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Museum. It was attended by Her Highness Dr. Mona bint Fahd al-Said, Assistant Vice-Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University for International Cooperation and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Professor Dr. Mikhail Piotrovskiy, Director General of the State Hermitage Museum in the Russian Federation, a member of the Board of Trustees (attended remotely), and His Excellency Jamal bin Hassan al-Moosawi, the Secretary-General of the National Museum.
