The National Museum Hosts an Event Dedicated to Animation in Collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the “Russian Seasons” Foundation

The National Museum, represented by the Learning Centre, hosted an event dedicated to animation in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the “Russian Seasons” Foundation, under the umbrella of the cultural project “Russian Seasons”, on 23 – 24 February, 2025.

The event included a session titled “Animation Techniques,” facilitated by Prokopiy Ulyashov from Soyuzmultfilm Film Studio (SMF Animation), as well as lessons for school students to help them learn new skills in drawing and animating cartoon characters. Modern animation by Soyuzmultfilm Film Studio was also presented.

The event enhances cultural exchange between the Sultanate of Oman and the Russian Federation, transfers Russian skills and expertise in animation production to children, youth, and those interested in digital art, and enriches participants’ artistic and creative knowledge.
