The National Museum hosts the International Museum Construction Conference (IMCC)
To exchange experiences and explore the latest technologies in the world of museum construction, the Sultanate of Oman is hosting the International Museum Construction Conference (IMCC) during the period of February 25-27, 2024 CE.
The conference takes place in three venues: the first at the National Museum, then at the Oman Museum across time, and finally at the Royal Opera House.
The activities of the first day discussed the role of museums in enhancing the knowledge of youth with disabilities, their interests, and their creative skills, in addition to the connection between museums and designers and creators.
The conference is a global event that brings together professionals, experts, and stakeholders in the planning, design, and construction of museums worldwide. It serves as a platform for the exchange of knowledge, best practices, and innovations in the field of museum architecture and construction.
