The National Museum Launches Its Russian-Language Version of the Website

As part of the Russian cultural seasons in the Sultanate of Oman, the National Museum launched on Sunday, February 23, 2025, the Russian-language version of its website, under the patronage of His Excellency Salem bin Mohammed al-Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Museum, and in the presence of His Excellency Oleg Vladimirovich Levitin, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Sultanate of Oman, as well as a number of distinguished members of the State Council, ambassadors, officials, and cultural enthusiasts.

The launch of the Russian-language version of the website serves as a window to introduce Russian-speaking tourists and residents to the rich cultural heritage of Oman. This contributes to the revitalisation of cultural and museum tourism in the Sultanate of Oman in general, and the National Museum in particular, and provides an opportunity to highlight the Museum’s vital role, its key events and exhibitions, and its diverse activities.
