The National Museum organises the "Sustainable Development Goals" workshop in cooperation with Youth Sada Foundation
The National Museum, represented by the Friends of Oman Museums, and in cooperation with Youth Sada Foundation, organised a virtual workshop titled “Sustainable Development Goals” on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, through the “Zoom” platform. The workshop was presented by Mahmoud bin Muhammad Al-Sarkhi, a member of Youth Sada Foundation.
The workshop included a number of topics. Most importantly introducing the sustainable development goals set by the United Nations to save the world from current global issues, addressing the 17 goals, as well as discussing our role as citizens in achieving these goals, in addition to the efforts and outcomes of the Sultanate’s work to achieve the sustainable development goals.
It is worth mentioning that the Friends of Oman Museums aims to provide a set of exclusive services to its members, in the participating institutions. It includes: the National Museum, as Saidia School of Education Museum, the Royal Opera House Muscat, and the museums of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, namely: the Natural History Museum, The Omani-French Museum, and the Children’s Museum.
