The National Museum Organizes a Cultural Program in Cooperation with the Chechen State Pedagogical University

The National Museum, represented by its Learning Centre, in cooperation with the Chechen State Pedagogical University in the Russian Federation, organised a cultural programme titled "A Literary Production for a Miniature Student Theatre Inspired by the Works of Writers Commemorated in 2025", held during 18–19 June 2025, with the participation of 180 students from schools across the Muscat Governorate.

The programme featured student theatrical performances inspired by the works of the Russian writer Anton Chekhov, as well as a poetry recital dedicated to the poet Sergei Yesenin. It also included interactive workshops on traditional crafts such as Chechen carpet weaving and the making of "Matryoshka" dolls, along with the "Rainbow of Crafts" exhibition showcasing decorative and applied arts. The programme concluded with a scholarly seminar on preserving and developing the Russian language among children growing up in bilingual environments.
