The National Museum organizes an introductory meeting on the job rotation initiative
The National Museum organized an introductory meeting on Wednesday and Thursday (November 16-17,2022 CE) for museum employees on the job rotation initiative among the units of the state`s administrative apparatus.
During the meeting, the initiative, its objectives and the benefits of applying it to the employee, the official, the unit and the community were introduced, as well as the legal mechanisms, controls and tools that facilitate the implementation of the initiative in the right ways, and the electronic platform of the initiative, which is concerned with presenting job rotation opportunities available by various government agencies, which enables employees to view the opportunities compatible with their qualifications and experience, and registration via the platform to receive notifications and alerts regarding the progress of the recycling procedure. The meeting also included the implementation of an electronic competition aimed at consolidating the information discussed, and finally opening the door for employee queries regarding the initiative.
This initiative is part of many initiatives and projects that the Ministry of Labor seeks to implement to benefit from the exchange of experiences and knowledge of employees and to facilitate the transfer and rotation of employees between government units according to the controls and conditions prepared for that.
It is worth noting that the job rotation initiative in the units of the administrative apparatus in the Sultanate of Oman came with royal directives in September 2020 CE, to set a general framework for the job rotation mechanism and facilitate the transfer of employees among government units, and in March on 2022 CE, the Council of Ministers included the Guide to Controls and Procedures for implementing the job rotation initiative, and last May Specialists in the Ministry of Labor and were instructed to start implementing the job rotation initiative among government units, and the initiative entered into force last July, and on November 15, the Ministry of Labor launched the Ejadah job rotation platform, which comes within the Ejadah system for career development starting January 2023 CE.
