The National Museum Participated in the National Vaccination Campaign against COVID-19
In conjunction with the National Plan for vaccination against the Coronavirus, which is being implemented by the Ministry of Health, the National Museum hosted the National Vaccination Campaign program on Wednesday (7 July 2021). The Campaign is organised by Badr al-Sama Group of Hospitals and Polyclinics at the headquarter of the National Museum.
The National Museum`s participation in this initiative fulfills some of the objectives for which it was established, such as increasing public awareness and consolidating the noble Omani values that call for solidarity and cooperation. The Museum will harness its advanced facilities and qualified front office staff to ease procedures and reach the largest number of targets for the vaccination campaign in the Governorate of Muscat in a place incubating the components of Oman’s long-standing cultural heritage. Furthermore, the participation supporting the national efforts in reducing the spread of the pandemic and preserving the health and safety of citizens and residents.
