The National Museum participates in the 11th St Petersburg International Cultural Forum

The National Museum is participating in the 11th St Petersburg International Cultural Forum, held in St Petersburg, Russian Federation, under the theme "Return to Culture: New Opportunities", under the patronage of His Excellency Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, from 11 to 13 September.

His Excellency Jamal bin Hassan al-Moosawi, Secretary-General of the National Museum, presented a paper today titled "A Social Experience Beyond the Museum Narrative" during the panel discussion "New Museums and Development Programmes", chaired by Professor Dr Mikhail Piotrovsky, Director-General of the State Hermitage Museum. In his presentation, His Excellency highlighted the National Museum`s role in strengthening the social and cultural fabric and outlined its vision of the museum as a social space that contributes to job creation, the enhancement of quality of life, and the development of infrastructure, bringing together authenticity and scientific standards to address the challenges of the present and the future.
