The National Museum presented by the Friends of Oman Museums` organised a workshop presented by Youth Sada on 9th November 2020.

Representing by the Friends of Oman Museum’s, the National Museum organised in cooperation with Youth Sada a workshop titled “Sustainability of Community Initiatives” on Monday 9th of November 2020. The workshop was conducted through ZOOM and hosted by Eng. Qais bin Salim al-Muqrushi, the Chief Executive Officer of Youth Sada.
 
The workshop aimed to introduce the basic concepts of development and sustainable development, their dimensions, and the most important elements that ensure the sustainability of community initiatives that have a role in promoting and consolidating the principle of cooperation and integration. Furthermore, the workshop dealt with the most prominent challenges that the initiatives face and ways to overcome them.
 
The workshop was attended by a number of those interested in the field of community initiatives and representatives of some charities, and a translation in sign language was provided for people with hearing disabilities.
