The Ruler of Sharjah Visits the National Museum

Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah, and the delegation accompanying him today visited the National Museum as part of his official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

Sheikh Dr. Sultan was received by His Excellency Jamal Al Moosawi, Secretary-General of the National Museum, and a number of museum officials.

The Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah and the delegation accompanying him toured the Museum and its galleries, and listened to a comprehensive explanation about the museum. The briefing highlighted important aspects of the history and civilization of the Sultanate of Oman, most notably the Land and People gallery and the Maritime History gallery.

At the conclusion of the visit, Sheikh Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi wrote a word in the museum’s VIP visitors’ register in which he expressed his thanks to those in charge of the National Museum for the comprehensive explanation and valuable information they provided, and the continuity in explaining and clarifying facts.

Further, His Excellency Jamal Al Moosawi, Secretary General of the National Museum, presented Sheikh Dr. Sultan with a set of Museum publications.

During his visit to the National Museum, Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah was accompanied by Dr. Abdullah Nasser Al Harrasi, Minister of Information.
