The National Museum, represented by the Learning Centre and in collaboration with the United States Smithsonian Institution and the Embassy of the United States in the Sultanate, hosted the second lecture in a series on museum management in the twenty-first century for Omani specialists and students within the museum field on Tuesday, August 17, 2021.

Titled “The History of Representation of Cultures in Museums and Cultural Centers," the virtual webinar was hosted by Dr. Paul Michael Taylor, Research Anthropologist at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History, Director of the Museum’s Asian Cultural History.
