The Collections Gallery is based on the open plan storage concept. The gallery offers opportunities for visitors to interact with the exhibits on display without the means of traditional museographical interpretations. It also houses a preventive conservation lab where visitors can engage with dedicate museum staff in handling original objects and to learn about the basics of collections management. This is the first open plan storage concept in the Middle East.
